FAQs
“You have so many planners! Where do I start?”
I’m so glad you asked. Planners are definitely not one-size-fits all - that’s why I offer such a wide variety. The closer it is to what you actually NEED, the more likely you are to use it. So, think about you main needs. For most people, the Daily Planner is a solid option to guide them through day-to-day priorities. It’s perfect for ADHD minds, but honestly is pretty great for anyone who prefers a more visual layout than typical planners offer. If you need to see an overall view of several days at a time, then the Weekly is your friend. Small business owner? Student? Teacher or office worker? Well, there are solutions for all of those as well. If you can’t narrow it down, or feel like your needs are more diverse than a single planner, nothing says you can’t bundle them together, boo. Create your own system with a few laminated planners. There are no rules!
“I hate planners. Why is yours different?”
Most planners are just big blank boxes that leave us feeling overwhelmed or uninspired. What do you even write in that space? My planners are more like guided lists that narrow down the focus and help you prioritize. They’re undated so the expectation of having to use it every day is gone. Use it when you need it, forget it when you don’t. No guilt.
“How many pages are in your notepad planners?”
50 pages. Mess up a page and need to start over? Rip it out and start fresh. You have extras. No biggie.
“Why doesn’t your planner have a cover?”
Covers are the enemy to the ADHD brain, pal. Once you close that planner, it’s out of sight out of mind, and the chances of you opening it again are slim. My planners are designed to always be open to the day you’re currently working through so you can see your priorities with a quick glance. Worried that they’ll get messed up if you throw them in your bag? Don’t be! These guys are STURDY and withstand a little abuse.
“But… how do I save my pages if it’s not bound?”
You don’t. Once a day is done, rip it off and throw it away. Holding on to old days and unfinished tasks leads to guilt. Copy anything important or ongoing onto the next page, then let go of the rest, move on, and start fresh. If you ABSOLUTELY have to save a copy, snap a picture and save in a folder on your phone.
“What do each of the little pictures mean on the planners?”
Those are habit icons and the beauty of them is that they can mean whatever you need them to mean! Here’s a handy guide if you need some suggestions.
“What are priorities with consequences?”
These are your three most important tasks that need to be your main focus of the day. These are things that unavoidable and have real consequences for not getting done. Do these things first!
“Why are all of the planners in black and white?”
For some people, color is distracting. I like to leave my designs in black and white so you can color code in whatever way makes sense for you, and only if you want to! Grab a pack of highlighters or colored pens and make it yours, but don’t feel pressured to “make it pretty.”
“Do you ship internationally?”
While all of the orders made here at imperfectinspiration.com are only available for U.S. shipping, I do offer international shipping in my Zazzle shop! (There are even a couple of cool products there that aren’t currently offered here - giant dry erase board planner, anyone? Seriously. Go check it out.)
“How much is shipping and how long will it take to get to me?”
All orders ship via USPS and shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight of the products ordered. You should receive your order in 7-10 business days.
